Aion Quest Help – Fire Sword (Elyos Only)
Rikto | 10/14/2009 | 12:03 amThis quest lets you upgrade the Fire Sword to the Flame Sword at level 25. There is then another quest obtained at level 32 to upgrade the sword even further to get Inferno. This is a great sword for Templars, Assassins, and Gladiators.
First what you will need to do is get the sword to drop or… buy it from the broker, but that can be a little expensive.
The Fire Sword drops from Dried Gnarls and Mottled Basilisks. Here is a picture with their general location.
The first part of this quest chain is obtained at level 25 from “Garperos, Daeva of Flame”. He is located at “Sataloca’s Grave” on the right side of the path standing in the middle of a huge jaw bone.
After that you will have to kill some Flame Spirits and collect their Flame Essence x3.
When you finish with that, just go back and talk to Garperos to get your new sword.

What is the minimum level I should be in order to finish this quest?
25 is the lowest level you can get the quest. I was able to do it with a 25 Templar solo.
is there an asmodian equivalent for this fire sword quest? and if so where can i find it?

whats the droprate from the dried gnarls, does it take long?
I’ve been killing more than 50 Mottles basilisks and about 20 dried gnarls and it doesn’t drop.
